In the month of June Northampton celebrates wellbeing with a Festival. How will you celebrate yours? This is a question being posed by the Festival Team. Which consists of many health, fitness and wellbeing providers.
British Nordic Walk Instructor, Sue Burnett, has teamed up with Northampton NHS and the Forestry Commission to deliver an Introduction to Nordic Walking for Health.
On Sunday the 20th of June, Nordic Walking, will be taking place in Fermyn Woods Country Park as one of the many events being held in June for the Northamptonshire Festival of Wellbeing 2010.
You may have read about it in the papers, you may have seen it on TV, you may have heard about it on the Radio.
Nordic Walking is now available in Fermyn Woods Country Park in Northampton as part of the wellbeing festival events for June.
Try something new, try Nordic Walking in June for your health. Feel the difference Nordic Walking can make. Go on treat yourself, and there are not many things you can do for £1.00 today. So get down to Fermyn Woods Country Park on the 20th of June and try something new, you will be really glad that you did.

What: Nordic Walking for Health an Introduction.
When: 20 June 2010, 10.00 am - 12.00pm or 1.00 pm- 3.00 pm.
Where: Fermyn Woods Country Park, Kettering, Northants.
Accessibility: no experience required, will suit all ages, all fitness abilities. Please note there will be fair amount of activity involved.
Clothing: Dress for the weather, sunscreen and shades for the sun, windproofs for the wind etc. Wear trainers and bring water for hydration.
Refreshments : Available at the Skylark Cafe.
All donations of £1.00 per person will be donated to the Forestry Commission the kind host for this event.
Children are welcome, 8 + must be accompanied by an adult, partent or guardian. Please note this event is unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
